She was, with Queen Mary, a flag ship of Cunard Line to complete the express superliners built by German, Italian and French companies in the late 1920s and early 1930s. QE provided luxury liner and immigrant service between Southampton, England (UK), and New York, New York (US), via Cherbourg, France on Continental Europe. Queen Elizabeth had a length of 1,031 ft, a beam of 118 ft, and a gross tonnage of 83,673. The propulsion system consisted of 4 steam turbines attached to 4 shaft props, enabling the ship to achieve a service speed of 28.5 knots. She can carry about 2,283 passengers and 1000 crews.
